Job tags

Strong PR match★★★
The strongest path to permanent residency we can see for this job, with a PR score of 75 to 100. Usually the employer can support you directly, or IRCC has invited the job's category in recent draws.
Good PR match★★★
A skilled job in a category Canada has invited through Express Entry recently. PR score 55 to 74.
Counts toward PR★★★
A skilled job, so a year of it can count toward permanent residency, but nothing gives it an extra push right now. PR score 30 to 54.
PR score
A 0 to 100 estimate of how strongly a job can lead to permanent residency. It weighs the occupation's skill level, recent draws for its category, Québec and regional programs, and whether the employer is designated. It's a general signal about the job, not your personal eligibility.
+CRSCRS boost
This occupation is on IRCC's high-wage list. Since 3 November 2026, a full-time permanent job offer here adds points to your Express Entry score (CRS): 50, 70 or 100, depending on the occupation. A year of the work in Canada adds a smaller boost.
How current this is
Jobs are checked daily and their tags are reassessed as draws and programs change. A tag can change after a new draw, so check before you apply.

Immigration terms

Express Entry
Canada's main online system for skilled workers. You create a profile, get a CRS score, and IRCC invites the highest scores in regular draws, some open to everyone and some for one category of job.
Draws
Rounds where IRCC invites people from Express Entry to apply for permanent residency. A category draw invites only one kind of job, such as trades or healthcare. Tags update after each draw.
NOC code
Canada's code for an occupation. Immigration programs use it to decide which jobs count.
TEER level
The skill level of an occupation, from 0 (managers) to 5. TEER 0 to 3 count as skilled work for Express Entry; 4 and 5 count for some provincial and community programs.
Designated employer
An employer approved by a province or community to hire newcomers through a specific program. They can support your permanent residency application directly, which is why these jobs score high.
Atlantic Immigration Program
A route to permanent residency in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI and Newfoundland and Labrador, through a job offer from a designated employer. The province endorses the offer, then you apply.
Rural Community Immigration Pilot
A route to permanent residency through a job offer in a participating rural community. The community recommends you, then you apply.
Provincial nominee program
Each province's own route to permanent residency. A province nominates you, often with a job offer, and the nomination adds weight to your application.
CLB
Canadian Language Benchmark: the level your English test (IELTS or CELPIP) or French test (TEF or TCF) converts to, from 1 to 12. Most skilled programs ask for CLB 5 to 7.
Canadian work experience
Paid work you did in Canada while allowed to work here. For Express Entry, skilled work (TEER 0 to 3) counts; time as a full-time student doesn't.

Unlocks and plans

What an unlock shows
Each thing you unlock on a job costs 1 unlock. The PR pathway is 1 unlock, and the person hiring, with their email, is 1 more. Contacts are on Skip the Line and PR Club. If we can't find a contact, the unlock comes back. New accounts get 3 welcome unlocks, once. You can use them when your plan starts.
Unlocks
Plan unlocks come each month with a paid plan and reset when it renews, or expire when the plan ends. Your 3 welcome unlocks, top-ups and the 5 unlocks you get for your first review, any rating, never expire while your account is open.
