PRJobs (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a product of ImmigrateAI Global (“Company”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Platform.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Use. By creating an account or using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Nova Scotia privacy legislation.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account using a third-party sign-in provider, we receive and store:

  • Your name (as provided by your sign-in provider);
  • Your email address;
  • Your profile photo (if available).

1.2 Immigration Profile Information

During onboarding and profile management, you may provide:

  • Your country of citizenship or nationality;
  • Your current immigration or legal status in Canada;
  • The expiry date of your immigration documents, permits, or visas;
  • Whether you have an Express Entry profile and when it was created;
  • Your job preferences and career interests;
  • Professional credentials and qualifications.

1.3 Usage Data

As you use the Platform, we automatically collect:

  • Job bookmarks and saved listings;
  • Credit transactions (pathway reveals and credit purchases);
  • Search queries and browsing activity within the Platform.

1.4 Profile Photo

You may optionally upload a profile photo, which is stored securely in our cloud storage infrastructure.

1.5 Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials on our servers. We may store a reference identifier and subscription status for account management purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Service delivery: To provide, maintain, and improve the Platform and its features;
  • Personalization: To match you with relevant job listings and permanent residency pathways based on your immigration profile, preferences, and activity;
  • Account management: To create and manage your account, process subscriptions, and track credit usage;
  • Communications: To send you service-related notifications, including subscription confirmations, billing updates, and material changes to our Terms or this Policy;
  • Security: To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues;
  • Legal compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

3. Immigration Status Data

Your immigration status data is treated as sensitive personal information under PIPEDA and is afforded heightened protection.

Information about your immigration status, nationality, legal status expiry, and Express Entry profile is collected solely to personalize your experience on the Platform — specifically, to surface job listings and PR pathways most relevant to your immigration profile.

We will never sell your immigration status data to third parties. We will not share it with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law or as described in Section 4 below.

You may request the correction or deletion of your immigration status data at any time by contacting us at support@immigrateai.global. Please note that deleting this data may limit the Platform's ability to provide you with personalized recommendations.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Cloud infrastructure provider: We use a third-party cloud platform for authentication, database storage, file storage, and hosting. Your data is processed in accordance with our provider's privacy policies.
  • Payment processor: Payment processing is handled by a third-party payment processor. Only the information necessary to process your payment is shared with this provider.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your personal information is stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure, with our primary servers located in North America. Key security measures include:

  • Encryption at rest and in transit for all stored data;
  • Secure authentication and session management;
  • Database security rules that enforce owner-only access to personal data;
  • Profile photo uploads restricted to 2MB, image-only files, accessible only by the account owner;
  • Credit transaction audit logs that are immutable once created.

While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

6. Your Rights Under PIPEDA

Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correction: Request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal information;
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations;
  • Withdrawal of consent: Withdraw your consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

The Platform uses the following technologies to maintain your session and improve functionality:

  • Authentication tokens: Stored in your browser's local storage to keep you signed in across sessions. These are essential for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled while using the service.
  • Session cookies: Used to manage authentication state.

We do not currently use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. If we introduce analytics or tracking technologies in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and notify you accordingly.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information as follows:

  • Account data: Retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal information will be deleted within 30 days, except as noted below.
  • Credit transaction records: Retained for up to 7 years after creation for financial record-keeping and audit purposes, as required by applicable law.
  • Anonymized usage data: May be retained indefinitely in aggregated, anonymized form for analytics and service improvement purposes. This data cannot be used to identify you.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible. 10. International Users

PRJobs is available to users worldwide. However, the Platform is operated from Canada, and your personal information is stored and processed on servers located in Canada and the United States.

By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your personal information to Canada and the United States. Canada has been recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection. PIPEDA provides privacy protections that are substantially similar to those afforded under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws. Please contact us to discuss how we can accommodate your specific requirements.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Posting the updated Privacy Policy on the Platform with a revised Effective Date;
  • Sending you an email notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Platform after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Platform.
